A Massage Therapist's job is to bring peace and wellness through touch. Provide a sense of calm and relief to the mind, body, and soul. I came into this practice wanting to bring improvement to my clients, whether that be through touch or knowledge.

Working in both Chiropractic and Physical Therapy environments, the opportunity to see a plethora of varying clients is vast. Granted there is the usual ailments; back pain, arthritis, post-surgeries, those looking for just a relaxing hour. But everyone is unique, no body is quite made up the same, and no set of muscles react to the same treatment.

Knowing this, it is imperative to inform each client about their options of treatment. What therapies may work better, how to prevent soreness and stiffness, stretches to increase Range of Motion (ROM), essential oils for relaxation, and much more. Every day more therapies, alternative medicine, and wellness practices are discovered. As a wellness provider it is my job to keep my clients updated on these changes. BUT you can only discuss so much in a 30, 60, 90 minute setting. So...

This blog is dedicated to informing those who seek to know and learn more about Massage, Wellness, Self-care and Essential Oils. The human brain is a sponge, so soak up something that will in the end provide you with knowledge to better care for yourself.
