Young Living extracts Rosemary Essential Oil by steam distilling it from the needle-like leaves of the perennial shrubs. It carries a familiar herbaceous, robust, woodsy scent with evergreen undertones that can be found in many personal care and aromatic products.

Rosemary is in herb that is highly regarded for its medicinal properties. Some include liver-protecting, antitumoral, antifungal, antibacterial, anticancer, antidepressant, hypertension moderator (high blood pressure). It is also a rich source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which are thought to help boost the immune system and improve blood circulation.

Research outlined in Therapeutic Advances in Psychopharmacology, it is detailed that the aroma of Rosemary has the ability to improve a concentration, enhance mental clarity, performance, and mood. It is also used for improving memory, indigestion (dyspepsia), arthritis-related joint pain, hair loss, and other conditions.

Rosemary Essential Oil can be used for topical application, direct inhalation, or a dietary supplement. I love this scent, diffuse it regularly, and just recently made my own oil blend of Rosemary, Lavender, and Frankincense!

Oil Uses:

  • Boost memory retention

  • Skin applications: refreshing & supporting rejevenation/acne

  • Respiratory system support when diffused

  • Promotes skin & muscle circulation when used during massages

  • Apply to abdomen with carrier oil & massage clockwise to assist with occasional digestive upset

  • Impaired memory/Alzheimer's
